Basic Hotel away from the city centre

Not the best location if you are on holiday in Madrid or on a shirt layover. It's far from the city centre and a taxi ride away from the airport too. It is possibly a hotel for people working on the many offices in the area. The limited staff at the hotel are friendly. The rooms are small and basic, with small windows. The rooms look out onto the highway in front or at the business park. There is a metro station a 15 minute walk from the hotel, so it's much better to just take an inexpensive Uber into the city of to the airport. There is an airy bar and restaurant at the lobby level of the hotel. Can't fault the staff or the hotel for anything really. A very mediocre yet comfortable stopover.

AC group hotels never fail to satisfy and delight. A one-night stop over after flying-in to nearby Madrid Airport was a first class experience. Check-in was carefree. Our light and airy room benefited greatly from the clean lines of the modern interior design. Faultless linen, pillows and duvet fascilitated a good night's sleep. And a magnificent soaking bath too. Very well done Senoras and Senors of AC Hotels. And thank you.

This hotel was close to business area and very much out of the way. Whilst my stay was pleasant the noise from major road can be heard. It’s not near centre of Madrid so you will need to take a taxi. No kettles in rooms you can ask for one however the one I received was used to boil soup. Therefore could not be used to make a cup of tea. Staff very helpful.

As my crew hotel was full we chose this one for a short one night's stay. There is no shuttle service to the airport and a single taxi ride is 26 to 28 Euros. The room was very small facing a sideway and the noise from the motorway close by necessitated sleeping with earplugs. Marriott's policy is clearly on saving fractions of pennies on every little detail: the pens used for signing the expensive bills, not changing the flat batteries in the remote controls until the 'customer' comes down to complain about it. I was surprised to find a piece of soap in the bathroom. We had a little meal in the bar and the waiter was a little rough in the beginning, he almost threw the plates and the cutlery onto our table. This mentality was completely opposite the one we experienced in the other part of Spain we visited. All in all the price- performance ratio is unacceptable. I don't recommend staying in this hotel but if you have to, make sure somebody else is paying for it. As a consequence I will cancel my bonvoy membership today and I will avoid privately staying in Marriott hotels in the future.

Stayed here for 4 nights with work & although the hotel was lovely, the location is quite a bit away from Madrid itself. As I was travelling to & from the Congress by taxi each day, it wasn’t a massive issue but for some it may pose a problem. The room was clean & spacious although I had to ask for a kettle (more & more Marriott hotels appear to be taking away in room tea/coffee facilities). I like a coffee in my room each morning and the room service kindly brought me a kettle but no mug or coffee or tea bags which I thought was strange. Massive shout out to the lovely guy who was on the bar each night. Can’t remember his name but he was super efficient & remembered exactly what my colleagues & I had ordered the previous night & always served us with a smile & nice conversation.
